As a Class B Driver / Driver’s Mate, you’ll be on the road using different types of vehicles and work closely with your colleagues to ensure deliveries arrive safely and on time. You’ll start in a hands-on role with clear working hours and have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress towards a BE and/or C Driver position.About the companyYou’ll be working for a large foodservice wholesaler in Amsterdam. From this location, daily deliveries are made to hospitality businesses throughout the region. You’ll join a professional working environment with clear planning, well-organised processes and plenty of opportunities to develop within the company. Your responsibilities as a Class B Driver / Driver´s MateYou’ll make sure customer orders are delivered safely, accurately and on time. You’ll combine driving with hands-on logistics work and work closely with the planning team and your colleagues.
- Deliver orders to hospitality customers;
- Drive a box truck, Sprinter van or transporter;
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently;
- Coordinate daily routes and deliveries with the planning team and colleagues;
- Work as either a driver or driver’s mate, depending on the schedule.
- You have a valid Class B driving licence and are flexible with your availability;
- You are physically fit and comfortable with loading and unloading goods;
- You are customer-focused and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues;
- You are reliable, keep your commitments and work accurately;
- You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
- You’ll earn up to €2,700 gross per month;
- You’ll work full-time, 40 hours per week;
- You’ll work every other Saturday and receive a weekday off in return;
- You’ll drive a box truck, Sprinter van or transporter;
- You’ll have the opportunity to progress towards a BE and/or C Driver position.
