About the Role:
You’ll join the Source Integration Team (SIT), the team that owns the pipeline that brings that data in from hundreds of providers worldwide. We are modernizing a tightly-coupled legacy codebase into a modern architecture that fetches from external endpoints, transforms data into a standardized format, and publishes it for downstream consumers. As a PHP Developer you will build and maintain these integrations, taking ownership of them end to end. You will report to the Senior Manager, Source Integration.
You Will:
Rebuild critical components of our systems to be ready for the future.Proactively identify and propose opportunities to improve the product, architecture and systems (performance, scalability, security, etc.).Provide input on priorities and (jointly) manage the roadmap.You Have:
PHP experience: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on PHP (Laravel) development on professional projects (for businesses or open source).Tech-Savvy Developer: Our stack uses PHP (Laravel), Go, Gitlab-CI, Google Cloud Platform, MySQL, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, and more. It's nice if you're already familiar with our stack, but because you're experienced, we assume you'll quickly learn new tools if needed;Quality-Oriented: Have experience with testing and passionate about code maintainability and readability;Team Spirit: Accountable, an effective communicator and a true team player;Adaptive Learner: Embrace a growth mindset - open to feedback, eager to learn, and always in sync with the latest technical advancements.Our Benefits
