Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, monitor, and optimize production processes and production equipment to manufacture high-quality products.

Perform quality checks, monitor process parameters, and take immediate corrective action when deviations occur.

Change over and adjust machines during product changeovers and ensure the efficient continuation of the production process.

Identify and resolve first-line equipment malfunctions, and perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities.

Conduct basic laboratory and quality measurements and accurately record process data.

Actively contribute to improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with colleagues from Production, Maintenance, Logistics, and Process Technology, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

Qualifications:

You have experience as a Process Operator and hold at least a VAPRO A diploma or an equivalent technical qualification.

You have strong technical insight and are comfortable working with automated production systems.

You possess good interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues.

You have a strong sense of responsibility and a keen focus on quality, safety, and results.

Experience with process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen) is considered an advantage.

You are proficient in using computers and have experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.

You work independently and are proactive, flexible, hands-on, and motivated to further develop yourself and your team.

You hold a forklift certificate and certifications such as VCA, BHV, or First Aid (EHBO), or you are willing to obtain them.
