Offshore E&I Technician
In the challenging world of the offshore industry, you, as an Offshore E&I Technician, play a crucial role. You are responsible for the entire electrical system, from installation to ongoing maintenance, including switchgear, lighting, cabling, and control panels.
You are skilled in calibrating and maintaining advanced measurement and control equipment, such as sensors, transmitters, and controllers. Performing meticulous periodic inspections and tests are also part of your duties, ensuring all electrical and instrumentation systems perform optimally.
When a malfunction occurs, you are the quick and effective problem-solver who immediately addresses and repairs electrical and instrumentation issues. Safety is an essential part of your role. You strictly monitor and enforce safety regulations and standards, guaranteeing the safe execution of electrical and instrumentation activities.
With your expertise, you help create a safe working environment. You work closely with a skilled team, where your commitment, flexibility, and willingness to work 12 hours a day make you an invaluable asset.
These are the qualifications we're looking for:
Valid VCA Basic certificate
Valid BOSIET including HUET CA-EBS and Offshore Medical certificates
A degree in electrical engineering
At least 2 years of work experience as an E&I Technician
Proficiency in Dutch and/or English
ATEX and NEN 3140 certifications
Must be a resident of the Netherlands
A strong focus on safety, both for yourself and your colleagues
Flexibility, given the unpredictable helicopter departure schedule
Perseverance; working 12 hours a day doesn't deter you
