Reach Truck Driver – Dayshift
Are you an experienced reach truck driver looking for day work? We are hiring for a large cold storage warehouse. You’ll work in a freezing environment, but with warm thermal clothing and a heated reach truck, you’ll stay comfortable—even at temperatures as low as -22 °C.
What will you do?
You’ll help keep the warehouse running smoothly. Your tasks include:
- Driving a heated reach truck to move and store goods.
- Picking orders and placing them in the right location.
- Noticing and reporting stock differences.
- Following safety rules and guidelines.
- Working closely with your teammates and supervisors.
Working Hours & Salary
- Night shifts only, Monday through Friday
- Working hours: 13.00 - 22.00
- Gross hourly wage: €15.00 (including cold compensation)
- Night bonus: €17.84 per hour between 00:00 and 06:00 (includes 20% night shift allowance)
- Experience as a reach truck driver with a valid certificate
- Good English communication skills
- You are independent, accurate, and trustworthy
You’ll work at a wholesale company in Maastricht. They deliver fresh and frozen food daily to restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality businesses. Quality and customer service are top priorities here.
- Work 40 hours per week
- Travel allowance from 10 km (0.21 cents per km, up to 60 km per day)
- 25 vacation days (based on 40 hours), 8.33% holiday allowance, and pension from day one
