Manpower is looking for a Lead Electrical Assembly Technician for a company in the aerospace industry in Hengelo.
In this role you will:
Lead daily electrical assembly work on advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
Interpret wiring diagrams, harness layouts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
Build complete UAV electrical systems, including harnesses, sensors, and power distribution components
Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain top-quality standards
Develop and maintain clear assembly procedures and documentation
Coordinate with production, mechanical, and avionics teams for seamless system integration
Mentor and guide junior electrical assembly technicians
Collaborate with engineering to implement design improvements and resolve technical challenges
Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards

About the company
Functie-eisen
At least a mbo level 4 diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
At least 10 years experience in aerospace or high-tech)
Strong practical knowledge of wire harnessing, soldering, routing, grounding, and electrical testing
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a technical team
Hands-on, proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail
Skilled with tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting instruments
Organized, reliable, and able to perform under pressure
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
