INNSiDE By Melia Amsterdam welcomed its first guests in 2022, a year after its official opening in 2021 due to the impact of COVID-19. INNSiDE Amsterdam is the only Melia hotel in The Netherlands, the hotel has 328 rooms, 2 restaurants (including a sky bar), 3 meeting rooms, and a gym. The hotel welcomes both business and leisure guests. The hotel's diverse team brings together colleagues from around the world, creating a vibrant atmosphere. An interesting feature of the hotel is that we have our own bees, we sell their honey at the reception.

Job description:


Together with your colleagues you are responsible for arranging the quality of the hotel rooms. As the hotel has 328 rooms, this is an important function within the hotel. You will support the Housekeeping Supervisor with his daily tasks and ensure everything runs smoothly.


What are the main tasks you are responsible for?
  • Checking MOD report and VIP list arrivals
  • Checking Opera, our system (occupancy, amount of check in, check out, stay-over)
  • Checking and complete the hand-over and room’s reconciliation form.
  • Fill in and calculate “Room's invoices” (every Monday) -> compared to "Hand-over" [ to see how many rooms did we clean on each day and for which type]
  • Checking and calculating "Linen invoices" [amount of textile resources has been used]
  • Checking and calculating “Linen monthly invoice”
  • Quality VIP rooms check
  • Ordering HSK/hotel amenities.
  • Handling uniforms on a daily base
