As the Groups Reservations Manager you are the commercial representative for the groups department for Leonardo Hotels Benelux. A department responsible for the room only groups for our 16 hotels in the Benelux region.


WHAT DOES YOUR DAY AS A GROUPS RESERVATIONS MANAGER LOOK LIKE?
As the Groups Reservations Manager you will oversee the overall booking process of this department and you are constantly looking for opportunities to maximize revenue. You will be doing this by keeping up-to-date with the current market trends and looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction! Within Leonardo Hotels, no procedure is set in stone, which means there is still plenty of room for your own input.

Managing an international team? You know like no other exactly how to do this best and are able to take their performance and commitment to the next level.

A FEW REPSONSIBILITIES:


  • Applying yield management related to groups in collaboration with the Revenue Department.

  • Develop and manage the groups team to maximize their performance and engagement.

  • Handle buy-out and complex requests in terms of sales and planning (booking process); qualify, prepare proposal, convert business, planning and ensure financial settlement is in order.

  • Oversee the booking processes of the Groups department, identifying issues and making proposals for improvement.



WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE?


  • You have at least 2 years of experience in managing group reservations in hotels.

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in managing teams.

  • You have an HBO working and thinking level and preferably a Hospitality related education (Hotel or Facility Management).

  • Experience with Opera Sales & Catering is a plus.

  • You have good knowledge of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing.

  • You have a creative and positive mindset and 'you don't take "no" for an answer'.

  • You are professional, service-oriented and a real team-player!

  • You have good international communication skills and make new contacts easily and quickly.

  • You can think strategically, have insight in figures and you are a true leader.





SUPPORT OFFICE
A young, fresh, stubborn hotel company, that takes a slightly different approach. That is Leonardo Hotels. We operate in the Benelux with 16 hotels. The employees of our Support Office work for all these hotels and perform tasks related to their department. The departments Sales, Human Resources, Revenue, Marketing and Finance are centralized and work together for the hotels in the Benelux. A permanent workplace? Not for us! We regularly visit the hotels and occasionally work at the offices located at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark. Every day is different and that makes our work fun and challenging!
