Phytosanitary Management SpecialistAs part of our expansion plans, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Phytosanitary Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for content and coordination of all phytosanitary protocols at our global seed production locations to limit the risk of introduction and spread of (seed transmitted) plant pathogens. What are you going to do? As main contact for our seed production location managers, seed production managers and other stakeholders you’ll provide active support in quality management for phytosanitary management. You will translate research into protocols and procedures, contribute to management of designated hygiene systems and auditing of protocols. You will be responsible for preparing the content of work instructions and procedures. You have an active role in (new) implementations, which you help to coordinate and secure that necessary documentation is appropriate and up to date in a timely matter. As a Phytosanitary  Specialist, you have excellent knowledge of agriculture and the seed business. You possess excellent and effective communication skills. You can work independently with a clear understanding of the desired direction and priorities based on the organization’s vision and strategy.   We are seeking a candidate with affinity and preferably experience with project management, who is energized by proactively participating in management of international projects regarding phytosanitary protocol management. Your power To be successful in this role, you are able to work under pressure and are a knowledgeable discussion partner for the business.In short, you are or have:- An educational background in agriculture or plant sciences and strong affinity with phytopathology and disease management.- excellent interpersonal skills making you easily accessible and able to connect to people at different job levels and from different cultures.- Basic understanding of plant breeding, plant physiology and strong understanding of phytopathology.- have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.- experience with project management is highly preferred.- you set priorities and give clear directions to your stakeholders about which activities need to be undertaken.Advanced skills in working with Excel- can communicate fluently in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing, Spanish is a pre. - no problem with occasional international travel (less than 20% of your time).Our PowerEnza Zaden is a vegetable breeding company that develops vegetable varieties, and produces and sells its seeds all over the world.
