Devops Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at DevOn in Delft, you will responsible for delivering modern, secure software for our key clients. High performance engineering is the DevOn way and our Engineers deliver their services at a fast rate, ensuring the highest quality. The work that you bring forward will impact software development & developers and you will play a key role in breaking the silos. You will understand the why’, ‘how’ and ‘what’ of DevOps and act as a trusted partner and advisor to your colleagues. 

Your responsibilities:

• Formulating strong opinions on how you can best implement DevOps on the technical side and which considerations should be made when choosing tools.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in cloud (Azure/AWS) environments.
• Automate and build container systems with CI/CD tooling.
• Building and configuring Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Implementing deployments and rollbacks of applications.
• Monitoring and optimizing container workload deployments for customers.
• Automate operational tasks and support the transition service ownership model.
• Collaborate with various teams to simplify and improve software lifecycle processes.

As a DevOps Engineer at DevOn in Delft, it's essential to be able to perform the tasks effectively! Therefore, we ask the following of you, so you can enjoy your work:

• Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree;
• Experience in building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines Experience in Cloud, ideally Azure;
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Experience with Test Automation Programming;
• Experience with Python, .NET or Java;
• Fluently in Dutch and English.
