We are looking for motivated and skilled .NET Backend Developers! The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of professional experience in backend development with .NET technologies and hold a relevant university degree. If you do not have a degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience is required. Proficiency in English is mandatory, while Dutch language skills are considered a plus. Manpower is looking for .NET Backend Developers for different companies around the Netherlands.



As a .NET Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.



Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core)
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Maintain clear documentation and adhere to coding standards and best practices

Functie-eisen

  • At least two years of professional experience as a .NET Backend Developer (Alternatively, 5+ years of experience without a relevant university degree)
  • Strong proficiency in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API)
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required
  • Dutch language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git



Next to this, it is preferred if you have experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices.
