Your challenge as a (Junior) Team lead Software Development Aviation / IT Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Team Lead who can take on leadership responsibilities for a small team of four Software Developers, combined with a role as Project Manager and Consultant. We believe this position offers a unique opportunity due to the following:

1. You will have a diverse role, which includes managing a small team, working on a large product/project at a major customer site, being involved in internal projects, and potentially working on future or new projects with other clients as well.


2. This role is open to candidates without previous management experience, provided you are eager to take the next step in your career.

You’ll have the opportunity to visit places that are typically inaccessible and meet fascinating individuals, including those working in the military. Your role will focus on managing customer relations and providing service for their products. While working on-site with the customer, you will also identify potential opportunities for new projects.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

- Manage and develop your team

- Develop software

- Manage communication with suppliers and your customer

- Plan, organize and manage software releases

- Advise and support our Account Manager with your technical expertise and customer insights (customer needs)

The ideal (Junior) Team Leader

Ideally, you have technical knowledge (e.g., an HBO Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or Technical Management) and a desire to manage projects. You naturally take initiative, easily connect with others, and have strong planning and organizational skills. You may also apply if you don’t yet have management experience but want to take the next step in your career.

A driver’s license is required, and you must be able to obtain security clearance (NATO). Therefore, holding a European passport is highly preferred. If you do not yet speak Dutch, you must be open to learning it.

What we offer

For a Junior position, the starting salary is €2.800 gross per month, which applies if you do not yet have management experience or industry-specific experience. Your salary will depend on the value you bring to the company. In addition, you will receive a company car, laptop, and smartphone. We offer flexible working conditions.

Development opportunities

You will have the opportunity to take courses or training programs. Moreover, due to our growth plans, there will be potential for career advancement as the company expands. A possibility is to become part of the Management Team.
