Manpower is looking for a Secondary Engineer for a company in Rotterdam.
As a Secondary (Electrical) Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with design teams to develop electrical solutions for various applications
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and proper cable routing
Select and specify equipment like transformers, circuit breakers, and protection relays
Oversee installation of switchgear, control panels, and other electrical components
Conduct functional testing to verify system reliability and safety
Prepare accurate as-built documentation and facilitate handovers
Work closely with testing teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with regulations
What’s in it for you

At least a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience
Availability of 40 hours per week
Ability to work independently with general supervision
Strong influencing skills to guide others by explaining facts, policies, and best practices
Proven technical expertise with practical application in electrical projects
Fluency in English because of communication during the job. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage
