A young, fresh, stubborn hotel company, that takes a slightly different approach. That is Leonardo Hotels. We operate in the Benelux with 16 hotels. The employees of our Support Office work for all these hotels and perform tasks related to their department. The departments Sales, Human Resources, Revenue, Marketing and Finance are centralized and work together for the hotels in the Benelux. A permanent workplace? Not for us! We regularly visit the hotels and occasionally work at the offices located at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark. Every day is different and that makes our work fun and challenging! We consider your development very important and organize several training courses in your field or offer the option of a personal development plan. We have numerous examples of employees who have progressed to other departments and leadership positions.
Be informed that you need to speak fluent Dutch and must  be enrolled in a university or school program to to be qualified as intern.
Leonardo Hotels Benelux is looking for a People & Culture Intern.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment Intern to join our team in the Benelux region. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition within the fast-paced hospitality industry. As a Recruitment Intern, you will work closely with our HR and Talent Acquisition teams, supporting the full recruitment cycle and contributing to the growth of our exceptional team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Candidate Sourcing: Assist in identifying potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Job Posting Management: Draft, edit, and publish engaging job advertisements tailored to attract top talent in the hospitality sector.
  • Applicant Screening: Review resumes and applications, conducting initial screenings to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and organize interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Employer Branding: Contribute to initiatives that enhance Leonardo Hotels' employer brand, including participation in job fairs, career events, and social media campaigns.
  • Recruitment Analytics: Assist in maintaining recruitment data and generating reports to track hiring metrics and trends.
  • Administrative Support: Manage and update applicant tracking systems and ensure compliance with internal processes and legal requirements.


What We Are Looking For:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Passionate about recruitment and eager to learn about talent acquisition in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with digital recruitment tools.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English are required.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team.
