In this role you are responsible for the data management capabilities in our department, and you ensure the adoption of data management practices across our finance & staff organization. Hence, you will play a crucial role in realizing our data and analytics ambitions. Your responsibilities include:
Implement data management software within the finance domain;
Implement and maintain data quality rules of the finance & staff domains;
Develop key data products such as business glossary, data dictionary, and data lineage;
Collaborate with fellow data stewards across various business functions and the global data management team to manage and maintain master data.
You will join the Data, Analytics & Reporting (DAR) Team of Finance/Staff, working collaboratively within an agile environment alongside your peers from the Central Smart Data Platform Team as well as with the analytics teams of other functions. Within Enza Zaden we also have a DAR Team for Marketing and Sales and for our Seed Operations department. This cooperative effort aims to cultivate a culture of knowledge-sharing all while ensuring seamless alignment of best-practices.What you bring as a future colleague As a Data Steward, you will play an important role in ensuring the implementation of data governance elements to propel our business unit's strategy forward. Your dedication to maintaining data quality and aligning with business rules will be instrumental in our success on a global scale. Furthermore, you:
Have a minimum of 3 years relevant data management experience, preferably in the domain of finance;
Proven ability to work with senior management, business, and technical stakeholders;
Embrace a team-focused approach, cherishing collaborative approach with your peers;
Effectively engage with stakeholders to transform business requirements into actionable data management tasks;
Have foundational understanding of data modelling;
Bring experience with Informatica or similar data management software. We will start with the implementation of Informatica in April 2025;
Possess intermediate knowledge of SQL and Power BI;
Are proficient in written and verbal English and preferably also in Dutch;
Are residing in the Netherlands. Working from home is possible, but we expect you to work at Enza Zaden office in Enkhuizen for at least two days per week.
