Logistics Employee Part time

You will be order-picking using an electric vehicle, where you will be responsible for quickly and accurately collecting and moving orders. You play a vital role in the process of gathering and shipping flowers and plants within the warehouse. You are also expected to work in a cold storage area, where the temperature ranges between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Your tasks include :

• Picking orders for flowers
• Picking orders for plants
• Working with your team to ensure satisfied customers

This part-time job starts in the early morning. You will begin at either 06:00 or 06:30, and it’s important to arrive at least 15 minutes early for the daily morning meeting. The end time depends on the workload and can vary. Monday is the busiest day, and your shift might extend until around 13:30. On Tuesdays and Fridays, you’re typically done by 11:00 to 12:00, while on Wednesdays and Thursdays, you can often finish as early as 09:30. On all days, you’re expected to stay until all work is completed.

• You prefer to start work at 6:00/6:30 AM.
• You speak Dutch and/or English.
• The ability to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).

You will be working through Actief Werkt! at Royal FloraHolland, the largest flower auction in the world. For over 100 years, this auction has been the international meeting place for growers and buyers of flowers and plants. Royal FloraHolland has locations in Naaldwijk, Aalsmeer, and Rijnsburg. This vacancy is specifically for the Naaldwijk location.

• An attractive starting salary of €15,43 per hour, excluding holiday pay. (from 01-01-2025 our starting salary will increase to €16,04)
