Proces Operator Best (fulltime)

At the company of a client of ours, we were recently asked to put out the search for the position of Proces Operator. This organisation is looking for an Proces Operator for their site in Best, who, together with other operators, ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the 30 production lines. As an Proces operator, you will be responsible for the entire production line and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You will contribute to achieving the production targets and ensure that quality is maintained. An overview of your duties is as follows:

• Operating the production line: You ensure that the machines on the line function properly and know exactly what is expected of you and your team.
• Machine maintenance: You set up the machines, operate them, carry out interim conversions and take care of cleaning the machines at the end of your shift.
• Troubleshooting: You resolve minor malfunctions independently to keep the production line running.
• Maintaining production records: You record and monitor production figures and ensure that everything goes according to plan.
• Order and tidiness: You ensure a clean and organised working environment on the line.
• Adhering to safety and quality standards: You ensure that the production line meets food safety (HACCP), quality standards and health and safety regulations.

• Technical understanding: You have (reasonable) technical insight and can fix minor malfunctions independently.
• Knowledge of food safety: Experience with HACCP is a plus, but we are happy to teach you if you have no previous experience.
• Flexibility: You are willing to work 5 days a week, from Monday to Saturday. Working on Saturdays is possible after consultation.
• Language skills: You have a good command of Dutch or English and are willing to improve your Dutch.
• Critical and solution-oriented: You think in solutions and strive for improvements, both in the processes and in your own work.
• Work experience in the food industry is an advantage, but not required. Even if you come from another industry and your profile fits further, we encourage you to apply.

• Salary between €2500 and €3100 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience (based on 38 hours per week, including allowances).
• Surcharges: Shift bonus of 15%, production bonus of 3.40% and cold allowance of €11.80 per week (because you work in a cold environment of 0°C).
