Would you like to be part of our new Global Seed Processing Engineering Team? In line with Enza Zaden's Seed Operations expansion strategy, we are presently enhancing our Engineering team by welcoming Project Managers with varying levels of experience. As a team, we want to make a solid contribution to a growing organization that strives for sustainability and technological advancement. The team is located in Enkhuizen and will deliver project management services to the processing sites in i.a. the Netherlands, Germany and United States. Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Take charge of CAPEX projects from business case assignment to implementation in Seed Processing;?
  • Take responsibility for change management, project commissioning, validation, and achieving project objectives;
  • Work closely with internal and external managers, suppliers, project sponsors, and other stakeholders;
  • Define and address issues, risks, and opportunities, proposing improvements and implementing measures across all project aspects; 
  • Manage all relevant project management documentation and progress reports;
  • Advise and support internal customer in developing the Business Case.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of Stage Gate Project Management methodology. Establishment of Global Engineering Standards, and sharing best practices.
 Your strengthIn the role of (junior) Project Manager in Engineering, you possess effective communication skills and demonstrate a professional entrepreneurial attitude. You can effectively manage your workload under time constraints, maintaining a clear overview and easily transitioning between projects. Your work experience in the food and/or process industry is a plus. In short:
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering;
  • Some experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects in an operational environment;
  • Familiar with Stage Gate project management and LEAN, Continuous improvement methods;
  • Solid knowledge of validation principles (VMP, DQ, FAT, IQ, OQ, SAT, PQ);
  • IPMA or PMI certified (is a plus);
  • Knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written. German is a plus;
  • Willing to travel (occasionally) (inter)nationally.
