 Make a difference as Analytics Engineer In this role, you’ll play a part in ensuring our data platform delivers value across the organization. Your key responsibilities include: 
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining stable analytical data platforms and products, including data models, common dimensions, reports, and dashboards; 
  • Standardizing and automating data services to enhance reliability, efficiency, and quality; 
  • Monitoring and reporting on the usage, costs, and performance of analytical data products to ensure future-proof solutions; 
  • Collaborating with architecture teams to align with security and design rules, ensuring compliance and consistency; 
  • Supporting and advising data consumers on best practices for analytical tools and products to maximize value; 
  • Translating business requirements into solid, scalable solutions in partnership with stakeholders; 
  • Educating and informing data professionals and stakeholders about the platform, services, and available tooling. 
 You will work closely with Engineers, Data Stewards and Business Intelligence specialists to ensure data quality and model consistency. You will report to the Manager Data, Analytics and Reporting and work at least 2days a week from our headquarters based in Enkhuizen.   What you bring as a future colleague  In our professional team full of passionate engineers, we are looking for an Analytics Engineer who has multiple years’ experience with data modelling and data transformation. You know how to build and manage reports and dashboards too. You also know how to communicate well with stakeholders to translate their requirements to actionable pieces of work. 
 
To meet the job requirements, you: 
  • have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience with data modelling and transformation; 
  • experience with managing Business Intelligence environments and know how to use the software and develop best practices like versioning, testing and continuous deployment; 
  • team focused approach; 
  • proficient in English and Netherlands, both written and verbal; 
  • are currently living in the Netherlands. Working from home is possible, but we expected you to work at Enza Zaden office in Enkhuizen for at least two days per week.
