Manpower is looking for a compliance officer for a client in Haarlem. 



As a Compliance Officer, you will shape QHSE strategy and policy with the board and management team. Your key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with ISO-9001, VCA standards, Health & Safety policies, and regulations such as PGS-37-2 and the Battery Directive. You will conduct risk assessments, manage audits, lead incident investigations, prepare KPI reports, and provide QHSE training. Additionally, you'll advise on compliance during the setup of a new production site, ensuring all processes remain safe and compliant. Your role will integrate QHSE policies across the company.



The key responsibilities are:

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding batteries and the import/export of these goods.
  
• Oversee the achievement of QHSE targets set with the management team
  
• Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies aligned with ISO-9001, VCA standards, and other certifications and audits
  
• Maintain quality and safety awareness across all employees
  
• Manage and maintain the company’s emergency response organization (BHV

• Able to work and think at a hbo level, with preferably an education in safety science or similar
  
• At least five years of work experience as Compliance Officer, QHSE specialist or another similar role supplemented with experience in a production environment
  
• You have a keen interest in the technology surrounding energy transition and sustainability
  
• A good command of the Dutch language, in many systems and communications this is our working language
  
• You are familiar with NEN 3140 &- 9140, ISO 9001, VCA and it is an advantage if you also know the laws and regulations surrounding the PGS-37-2
  
• You are communicatively strong, stress resistant and independent. You are a connector with a pragmatic and positive attitude
  
• Availability of 24 hours per week
