As the Head of Maintenance, you'll be the hero behind the scenes, making sure our guests experience a hassle-free stay while keeping our hotel in top shape. The Head of Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the 2 hotels (Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Arena Towers) ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and systems are in optimal working condition. This role requires proactive planning, effective team management, and adherence to safety regulations to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.

Tasks and responsibilities: · Develop and implement a rock-solid preventive maintenance plan to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner — because surprises are only fun at birthday parties! · Coordinate with external companies for major repairs and installations. · Maintain an inventory of necessary tools & equipment’s · Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all hotel facilities are in excellent working conditions · Lead and train the maintenance team · Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and front desk, to address maintenance-related concerns and ensure smooth hotel operations. · Responsible for Fire, Life & Safety
