Room Mate Aitana is a spectacular building, located on a man-made island in the IJ river and counts 285 recently renovated, spacious, bright and luxurious rooms, meetings rooms, a ballroom and gym. Besides the Marina bar & terrace, it also is about to open it's newly renovated cocktail bar, the new hot spot in our hotel.
We are looking for all-round bartenders to join our team and wow our guests!
You do this by exceeding your guests' expectations, creating a nice vibrant atmosphere, mixing great cocktails and drinks and serving them with flair and displaying your knowledge of the best local beers.
You will work both as bartender and waiter and the position, either in the Marina bar & terrace or on the Mezzanine cocktail bar, includes all tasks typically performed in a hotel bar (cashier, cleaning, roomservice deliveries, etc). We are happy to teach you all you need to know!

Preferably, you would match the following profile:
  • Great smile and a vibrant personality
  • (hotel) Bar experience is highly preferred, but we would love it if we can help you develop your skills further
  • Bilingual or very high level English. Other languages will be a plus
  • Proactive, guest-oriented, decisive personality ("Can Do" attitude)
  • Team player
  • Flexible, available to work afternoon / evenings
  • Lives in, or close to, Amsterdam
  • Have EU nationality, or valid work permit
  • Available to work in afternoons and evenings.
