Manpower is looking for a Field Service Technician Wind Turbines for a company in Rotterdam.



In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and service of wind turbines, working with advanced technologies while prioritizing safety and efficiency. Your primary tasks will include mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic work at heights, troubleshooting, and performing inspections. You will also have the opportunity to work with systems such as Condition Monitoring and Remote Control, ensuring that all service targets and safety standards are met. Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of the wind turbines you service
  • Conducting daily maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and solving mechanical and electrical issues
  • Handling hydraulic systems and performing repairs when necessary
  • Performing installation activities and following up with service orders
  • Carrying out periodic service inspections and component replacements
  • Working with high voltage systems while ensuring safety and adhering to environmental regulations
  • Collaborating with a team of technicians to deliver top-notch service to our clients

Functie-eisen

  • A degree or professional experience in electrical or mechanical engineering. You should be eager to develop and deepen your expertise in these areas
  • Hydraulic experience is a strong plus
  • Professional experience in wind turbine maintenance or in a similar technical field
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Availability of 40 hours per week 
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken because of job duties
  • Valid driver’s license (Class B)
  • Comfortable with working at heights
