In this role, you will take responsibility for the technical execution of engineering packages using NX as your core tool. Your work will directly impact the accuracy, feasibility, and build quality of every project. You’ll contribute to 3D modeling, technical documentation, and ensure compliance with both internal and regulatory standards. In this role, you’ll specialize in NX modeling, acting as a technical cornerstone in transforming detailed designs into 3D models ready for production. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between concept and reality, ensuring that engineering solutions are not only technically sound but also buildable.

What You’ll Do:


 Produce high-quality 3D models and technical drawings using Siemens NX and related software tools.
 Translate complex design concepts into manufacturable engineering packages.
 Ensure all engineering output meets Class, Flag, and project-specific regulations.
 Perform feasibility checks and propose design improvements where needed.
 Work closely with engineers, project teams, and production departments to ensure seamless project execution.
 Tackle technical challenges proactively and contribute to process improvements.
Functie-eisen
 A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, or a related technical field.
 Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in shipbuilding engineering.
 Hands-on expertise in Siemens NX, with additional experience in 3D AutoCAD, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic being a plus.
 Solid understanding of shipbuilding production processes and construction methods.
 Strong knowledge of structural design, hull layout, equipment integration, and exterior outfitting.
 Familiarity with FEM and stress analysis, as well as weight estimation and budgeting.
 A high level of technical insight into the yacht building process from concept to construction.
 Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
 A naturally precise and analytical mindset with a strong drive for delivering top-quality results.
