As a Project Engineer, you'll lead a specialized engineering discipline, managing both the technical and human aspects of the process. This is your opportunity to drive the design of world-class vessels from within an expert team.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of routing and arrangement engineering, playing a pivotal part in how systems, spaces, and structures are organized on board. From concept to delivery, your leadership and technical input will shape the flow, integration, and functionality of each vessel. This role centers on Routing & Arrangements, a crucial discipline that determines how systems and structures are organized and integrated across the vessel. Your expertise will shape efficient layouts, optimize space usage, and ensure that everything fits and functions as it should—from concept to final build.

What You’ll Do:


 Manage the engineering scope of your discipline, ensuring designs are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
 Oversee the development of 3D models, layouts, and specifications with a focus on routing and system arrangements.
 Ensure all work complies with Class and Flag regulations, as well as project-specific technical requirements.
 Act as a senior technical authority, offering innovative and practical solutions to engineering challenges.
 Facilitate coordination across disciplines, ensuring smooth collaboration between engineering domains.
 Lead, mentor, and support both junior and senior engineers within your team.
 Serve as the technical liaison with internal stakeholders and client representatives to align design intent and resolve issues.
 Drive improvements to engineering workflows, enhancing efficiency and design quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Functie-eisen
 A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
 At least 5 years of engineering experience in the shipbuilding sector.
 Strong leadership skills and experience managing engineering teams.
 Proficiency with 3D AutoCAD, and preferably experience with Teamcenter and Cadmatic.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt to your audience.
 Deep understanding of yacht construction methods and engineering processes.
 Specific experience with exterior outfitting, moving equipment, and systems integration.
 Familiarity with cable and panel routing, onboard systems planning, and weight and budget control.
 A sharp analytical mind with a commitment to delivering precise, high-quality engineering outcomes.
