Wood Operator Machining – Level 2

Your main tasks include:

• Independently operating CNC machines based on technical drawings, work orders, and specifications
• Machining wood and sheet materials using various woodworking machines
• Performing preventive maintenance on machines and tools
• Accurately using technical tools and equipment in the Wood department
• Interpreting and working from technical drawings
• Ensuring dimensional accuracy and performing in-process and final inspections
• Identifying and correcting any discrepancies or defects in the production process
• Assisting with and operating woodworking machines such as panel saws, planers, and crosscut saws
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Who are you?We’re looking for someone who is:

• Skilled, accurate, and reliable
• Safety-conscious and able to follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly
• Collaborative and communicative
• Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings
• In possession of general technical knowledge and hands-on experience
• Able to work at a VMBO level
• Fluent in Dutch and/or English
• In possession of a forklift and/or reach truck certificate (preferred)
• Has 1+ years of experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in wood machining
