We're looking for a passionate and driven Kitchen Chef to take the lead in one of our most iconic dining outlets. In this role, you'll manage daily kitchen operations, guide a talented brigade, and help shape the culinary identity of Jansz. through creativity, consistency, and leadership.


As Kitchen Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, while creating a positive and motivating environment for the entire team.



Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and motivate the kitchen and stewarding team (10-20 colleagues)



  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes



  • Contribute to recipe development and seasonal menu changes



  • Oversee stock management, ordering, and storage



  • Maintain HACCP compliance and a safe, clean working environment



  • Handle scheduling, kitchen administration, and reporting



  • Support a smooth and effective collaboration with Front of House

  • Leadership experience in a professional kitchen



  • Solid knowledge of HACCP and kitchen operations



  • Strong organizational and planning skills



  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure



  • A collaborative mindset and hands-on approach



  • Experience with all-day dining (breakfast, lunch & dinner)



  • A positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
