Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South has 227 suites and rooms and opened in April 2021. We want to appeal to both transient and longer-staying travellers visiting the Dutch capital. Each of the studio’s, one-bed and two-bed apartments has its own fully equipped kitchen. All rooms are suites with more living and working space than you would find in an any other hotel room. It is up to us to make the guests feel at home with our family of associates!
Keuken & Bar is full of local energy and international characters from breakfast through to lunch, and dinner. Relax and unwind with a great selection of beers, wines, and cocktails from the bar area. The restaurant offers a wide selection of seating areas ranging from more private tables next to the fireplace, or larger tables for groups of friends and colleagues. Our restaurant is designed for the entire family. Sports fans will appreciate the three large TVs, where they follow major sporting competitions. We are particularly well suited to family brunches and small parties.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager works closely with the General Manager to determine appropriate sales strategies in key market segments, maximizing all opportunities to support revenue objectives. He/she will be tasked to work towards sales targets and network with corporate clients, TMCs, ES Agents, local associations and networking groups, etc. He/she also must observe the local and wider domestic market, identify trends and monitor competitor activity. Manages key accounts and oversees the account management of all the contracted accounts across multiple market segments, aiming to maximize sales activities and drive a sales culture on property.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Market Share and revenue performance for the property from assigned accounts
Develop and implement strategies by segment with the General Manager
Works with the revenue team and General Manager to set Sales strategies and drive commercial action
Present and contribute during monthly owner’s and budget meetings on key actions undertaken
Manage, coach & develop a sales culture for the property
Create and develop a robust sales plan for the property with key internal stakeholders
Develops, monitors and adjusts sales, groups strategies as required based on business needs
Reviews sales account production monthly with revenue to identify patterns & volume of production to agree appropriate actions are taken
Working with Marketing team to put together promotions during low demand period, value add promotions and event periods.
Plays an integral role in all sales negotiations for existing business and for new account(s) sign up
Prepares reports and other materials for regular meetings and business processes
Develops strong partnerships with local organizations to further increase brand/product awareness
Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships
Develops strong community and public relations by maintaining property participation in local, regional and national tradeshows and client events.
Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
Attend Sales events when required
Report on a weekly/monthly basis all pipeline, contracts won, key activity in the month and next and top and bottom performing accounts
Answer customer queries in a timely and suitable manner
Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities
Prepare proposals and contracts.
Maintain a proficient knowledge of current accounts production and competitive set prospects via various sales tools and other industry tools & reports
Ensure our CRM tool in Salesforce is maintained and updated as per the required standard set by the organization

When it opens in early 2021, the 227-suite Amsterdam aparthotel – which was recently acquired for the ECHO Fund – will become the first all-suite property to operate under the upscale Radisson brand in Western Europe.
To appeal to both transient and longer-staying travellers visiting the Dutch capital, each of the studio, one-bed and two-bed apartments has its own fully-equipped kitchen. Other facilities at the canal-front hotel include a gym, on-site bar and restaurant with outdoor terrace seating, plus underground parking for 70 cars. Located in Amstelveen to the south of the city, the 10-storey hotel is within walking distance of the international companies who have their headquarters in Amsterdam’s booming district, such as KPMG, KLM and Canon.
With great transport links to the Zuidas central business district (3km), city centre (6km) and Schiphol Airport (8km), the property is well placed to cater for the growing demand for extended-stay accommodation options in this part of the city amongst project workers and relocating employees.
