In this role within Production Engineering, you’ll operate at the core of the manufacturing process, serving as both a driving and supporting force for Construction and Assembly.
You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for transforming engineering drawings into production-ready cutting files and enriching them with logistical data to support fabrication workflows.
With a wide variety of projects on your plate, your focus will be on converting technical designs into actionable build plans, maintaining detailed project schedules, and actively supporting smooth production operations.
This is a dynamic and challenging position offering opportunities to contribute directly to the efficiency and success of shipbuilding projects.

Key Responsibilities:


 Creating production cutting files, with on-the-job training provided during the onboarding process.
 Understanding and applying shipbuilding construction methods and manufacturing techniques.
 Generating accurate production data and optimized panel layouts based on manufacturability assessments.
 Executing external assignments in line with production planning.
 Collaborating with various internal departments, including Engineering, Metal Processing, and Production.
 Working with and maintaining multiple CAD systems such as Nupas, MicroStation, Rhino, and Nestix.
 Providing operational updates and reports on progress and quality to relevant stakeholders through structured project reporting.
Functie-eisen
 A proactive and accurate team player with strong communication skills and a flexible attitude.
 Vocational (MBO/MBO+) level education in Naval Architecture or a related technical field.
 Previous experience as a Work Planner or Production Engineer in a shipbuilding environment, ideally within a project-based organization.
 Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows, production techniques, and assembly processes.
 Familiarity with the mentioned CAD software systems is an advantage.
 A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
