As Pre-Commissioning Mechanical Superintendent you are reporting to the Commissioning Manager and you are accountable for Pre-commissioning phase on one geographical area of the Project.

Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, decision making, field experiences and technical skills are required to ensure delivery of a challenging project, with the achievement of client targets.

The duties & responsibilities are:


• To support and guide safe execution of the Mechanical and Piping pre-commissioning to achieve the Mechanical Completion work scope in accordance with contract requirements, specifications, procedures, and schedule.
• Supervise the testing of Mechanical and Piping systems in accordance with applicable pre - commissioning, commissioning, and relevant vendor test procedures.
• Manage the sub-contractor(s) involved in Pre-commissioning tasks to meet the Project Schedule, and the established Project milestones.
• Review applicable discipline commissioning technical documentation / procedures
• Provide competent supervision in the pre-commissioning, and testing of Mechanical and Piping plant, equipment, and systems as indicated in the relevant procedures, and update the procedure in case of needs.
• Monitor / report progress as required.
• Ensure all activities are implemented in a safe manner using the Project HSSE rules, and protocols.
• Prepare for future work fronts including preparation of applicable documentation i.e. Work packs, PTW requests, Method Statements, Simops, etc.
Functie-eisen
• You have extensive work experience in the field of Pre-Commissioning Mechanical within the petrochemical industry
• You have an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written
• You are authorized to work in Belgium
• You hold a valid VCA-VOL certificate
