Are you ready to lead the full logistics scope within high-profile naval engineering programs? In this role, you will coordinate and manage all logistics operations across complex, technically demanding projects. From overseeing a team of specialists—including Expeditors, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Warehouse Leads—to ensuring timely and compliant delivery of components and documentation, you will be at the center of project execution.

As the Logistics Project Manager, you will supervise the logistics lifecycle, maintaining alignment with strict timelines, budgets, and industry standards. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring internal policies are consistently applied across all supply chain activities. Embedded in the program’s core team, you will act as the bridge between stakeholders, driving the successful organization of factory acceptance tests and the punctual arrival of essential parts and data packages.


Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee the full logistics chain for your projects, including expediting vendor deliveries (hardware and documentation), managing imports/exports and licensing, coordinating transport and warehousing (including international sites), and securing on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop and implement strategic logistics frameworks, manage project timelines and resources, and monitor progress to continuously improve logistics performance.
• Act as the main contact for external stakeholders—clients, suppliers, and partners—ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout all project phases.
• Maintain strict compliance with all regulatory and quality guidelines, ensuring every logistic process meets relevant operational and safety standards.
• Continuously assess tools, workflows, and KPIs to refine logistics performance, proposing and implementing improvements in collaboration with the Logistics Department Manager.
Functie-eisen
• At least 5 years of experience managing logistics in project-based environments, preferably in naval, shipbuilding, or similarly technical industries.
• A strong background in international transport, customs procedures, and supplier coordination.
• Solid project management skills, ideally supported by IPMA C certification or equivalent, with an understanding of modern supply chain methodologies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling effective coordination with both internal teams and external partners.
• A proactive mindset, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to organize complex logistics with precision.
• Strong professional references, as a security clearance will be required as part of the recruitment process.
• EU citizenship and a valid EU passport are mandatory. Applicants with dual EU/non-EU nationality or dependent on work visas are not eligible due to the sensitive nature of the work.
