Job Description
  • Setting the saw to cut profiles to size.
  • Operating machines for stretching the profiles.
  • Checking profiles for straightness, dimensions, and damage.
  • Installing molds and working with the press operator.
The allround operator position is in a three-shift system from 07:00 to 15:00, from 15:00 to 23:00, and from 23:00 to 07:00. If you travel by public transport, we can discuss your start times.
You work in a production environment where it's sometimes loud due to the machines. You also don't mind working in a factory, where the climate can vary.

Job Requirements
  • You speak Dutch or English.
  • You have completed a technical education.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience as an operator in a similar role.
If you have a forklift or reach truck certificate, safe lifting and/or VCA certificate, that is definitely a nice to have!

Salary and Benefits
At Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you work as an allround operator in the extrusion department. There, we heat aluminum and press it through a mold. This creates different shapes, such as tubes, profiles, and sheets. Many companies use these for, for example, train construction, tent construction, event stands, bicycle industry, and much more. When you start as an allround operator at Nedal, you earn the following:
  • Salary from € 3,652 gross per month, including 16% shift allowance (Metalektro collective labor agreement). Salary is negotiable and depends on age and experience.
  • A full-time position (40 hours per week) with the prospect of a permanent contract at Nedal.
  • Travel allowance from 5 km.
  • 25 vacation days + 5% adv
  • Growth opportunities and training to become a driver of the extrusion press(es)
