Stroopwafels are an iconic Dutch treat enjoyed around the globe — and you can be part of the process that gets them there.

At our factory in Moordrecht, you’ll play a key role in the packaging department. You’ll operate and fine-tune machines like flow packers, robots, and chocolate coaters to ensure everything runs efficiently. If a technical issue arises, you’ll troubleshoot and, when needed, escalate to the line supervisor or technical service team.

You’ll also keep accurate production records, log malfunctions, and document solutions. Beyond the daily tasks, you'll contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives — all while following HACCP guidelines and safety procedures.

You’ll be working with a modern, largely automated production line in a dynamic environment.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday in a rotating 3-shift system (Please note: the night shift begins Sunday evening)
• Weekly rotation between day, evening, and night shifts

• Good knowledge of Dutch or English;
• You have an MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably with a technical background;
• You have 1 to 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator or Operator;
• Or you have a technical education and an affinity with food production;
• You live near Moordrecht, Rotterdam, Zoetermeer, Ridderkerk, or Alphen aan den Rijn.

Biscuit International is a European market leader in biscuits, toast, and breakfast products. You will be working at the stroopwafel factory in Moordrecht, where various types of stroopwafels are produced: standard, mini, chocolate-coated, with honey, and even organic.

• A salary starting from €15.91 gross per hour (including ADV allowance). With proven experience, this can increase to €17.12;
• Shift allowance: After 18:00, you receive 38% extra, meaning you earn €21.10 gross per hour!;
• Holiday pay; 25 vacation days with a full-time contract;
• Weekly payout on Tuesdays;
• Travel allowance from 5 km one way, at €0.23 per kilometer;
