Role Description This position is a part of the Ingredient Excellence Center (IEC) that represents a team of technical experts responsible for innovation projects focusing on creating value through ingredient functionality and processing technology for ofi Cocoa. It is a full-time opportunity that has arisen for the IEC team. The position is part of Research and Development focused on processing technology at ofi Cocoa. Key Deliverables Reporting to the Head of R&D, this position has the following responsibilities:
  • Being part of project teams focusing on improvement and innovation;
  • Planning, execution and reporting of experiments in pilot plant;
  • Planning, execution and reporting of analyses in laboratory;
  • Instructing and supervising trainees in experiments and analyses;
  • Maintain internal contacts with CSC, QA, QC, logistics and production departments at local and global level;
  • Taking care of placing, handling work orders and orders related to IEC Centre;
  • Collecting, preparing for shipment and receiving packages, samples and test material;
  • Writing and maintaining procedures and work instructions for machines and equipment;
  • Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance;
Functie eisen
Candidate Profile For this position, we are looking for a candidate who:
  • Possesses an MBO education, towards process technology and/or chemistry
  • Has 1-3 years of work experience in a similar position
  • An excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing
  • Good computer and Microsoft office skills
  • Has good communication skills, is pragmatic and creative
  • Is 100% available on-site (working from home is not possible)
