Orderpicker Fruits & Vegetables

Looking for a logistics job with regular daytime hours? Perfect. For an international fruit and vegetable supplier in Grubbenvorst, we’re looking for order pickers to join the team. It’s a long-term position with steady work and room to grow.

What will you be doing? You’ll be working in a modern distribution center where fresh produce is collected and prepared for shipping. No day is the same, and you and your team make sure all orders are ready to go on time.

Your main tasks:

• Picking orders using an EPT;
• Stacking fruits and vegetables on pallets so it's sturdy;
• Picking with a pick list;
• Preparing shipments for transport;
• Occasionally helping with loading and unloading trucks.

You’ll work day shifts from Monday to Friday. The day usually starts around 09:00 and ends around 18:00. Sometimes it runs a bit longer, but any overtime is paid, of course.

You’ll begin with proper onboarding and get a buddy to show you the ropes. They’ll make sure you settle in quickly and learn everything you need.

• You can communicate well in Dutch or English;
• Being able to handle physically; some crates with products weigh +/- 20 kg;
• Being able to work in a cold environment (+/- 5 to 10 degrees Celsius);
• A valid EPT certificate is a strong plus, if you don't have one, you can get it through Olympia before you start;
• Work experience in a warehouse or warehouse is a plus, but not a must.

Our client is an international supplier of fruits and vegetables with their own cultivation as well. They have a wide assortment of about 1500 products. Despite this wide assortment, they guarantee the quality of these products and have the strictest quality needs and requirements. Despite the growth that this client is experiencing, they also fully understand the need to invest in staff. The company is located at Freshpark Venlo, easily accessible from the A73 from the directions Venray/Nijmegen/Cuijk and Venlo/Roermond.

• A starting salary of €14. 85 gross per hour in accordance with the collective labor agreement with plenty of room for growth;
• A travel allowance for commuting to and from work;
• You accrue 25 vacation days and 8.33% vacation allowance for full-time employment;
• From day one you will accrue pension through the StiPP pension fund;
• You start on a temporary employment contract through Olympia with the possibility of taking over if you perform well;
