Manpower is looking for a Quality Engineer for a company in Hengelo.
As Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring products and processes meet the highest standards. Your work will directly support mission-critical aerospace innovations.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and protocols
Investigate and analyze defects, root causes, and corrective actions
Oversee inspection and testing throughout production phases
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methods
Train production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques
Collect, analyze, and report on quality performance data
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material and component quality
Maintain documentation of quality control and management systems
Work closely with engineering, production, and design teams to integrate quality into all stages of development and manufacturing

Functie-eisen
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
At least four years of experience in a quality engineering role (aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing preferred)
Solid knowledge of quality standards (ISO, AS9100) and methods (FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, Six Sigma)
Availability of 40 hours per week
Experience with inspection, testing, and manufacturing processes
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and train staff
Proficiency in quality management software and data tools (Minitab, Excel, etc.); CAD experience is a plus
Fluent in English, both written and spoken because of job duties
