FunctieomschrijvingG2 Recruitment currently has an exciting opportunity for an R&D Engineer with an operational/production background to join our client in the North Holland region, supporting projects for consumer goods.The client is a fast growing company focusing on FMCG projects, specifically in the beverage industry. They have a rapidly increasing workload currently and are aiming to grow the team over the next few years, bringing excellent development opportunity.They are particularly interested in candidates with a hands on, operational bias, with experience in consumer goods manufacturing industries, or similar. You will be working on prototyping, testing, system optimisation and some CAD design work, supporting the R&D/NPI team. THE CLIENT ARE OPEN TO APPLICATIONS FOR BOTH PERMANENT AND FREELANCE CANDIDATES START: ASAPSALARY/PACKAGE (PERMANENT): €4,000 - €5,000 per month + 8% + BonusFREELANCE: Short term cover – 3-month initial contract – up to €55 per hourOFFICE LOCATION: North Holland, Netherlands Essential Skills:- Mechanical Engineering background or similar- Background working with design engineering with metals, preferably aluminium- Experience with standard design software (Solidworks, Inventor, etc.)- Any electronics or mechatronics experience is very beneficial- Fluent English and conversational Dutch essential The client has advised there are potentially multiple vacancies for this position with the company in a position to grow the team quickly due to their workload and upcoming projects.
