At StakeholderWatch we are at the forefront of providing insights build on real time market research regarding stakeholder interactions and behaviors to our clients. To model such interactions in real world conditions, we use advanced econometric techniques to understand and predict market behaviors. Our team provides actionable insights to firms that drive their strategic decisions in a dynamic environment where stakeholder interactions play a crucial role.

Why this role exists

We’re hiring a bridge—someone who can translate the outcomes of complex models and data into clear, business-ready storylines and strategies that tell the story to our senior clients. You will help large firms to get a better understanding of why and when their stakeholders shift their opinions and behaviours that affect firm performance.

Our mission is to help our customers to make better and faster decisions based upon superior stakeholder insights. Our 24/7 real time market research does allow our econometricians and social science researchers to generate deep, causal stakeholder models that help to explain how stakeholder behaviours evolve over time. But to use it effectively in a firm environment, clients need the help from guides who understands both worlds. To translate complex data into actionable insights, requires a sound understanding of the client context too.

What you’ll do

  • Translate models to action: turn complex stakeholder data into clear storylines, answers for clients: what matters, how much it matters, and what to do—strategically and tactically.
  • Tell the story: help to write compelling, structured reports and executive narratives (in Dutch and English) based upon our data and the firm context to connect evidence with future decisions.
  • Advise clients: lead client meetings/workshops, explain our methods and findings, and co-create strategic and tactical playbooks.
  • Bridge teams: work closely with econometricians and social scientists to scope analyses, refine models, and ensure that outputs fit client context.
  • Quality & precision: review output, sanity-check results, and uphold methodological clarity without jargon.
  • Enable adoption: help clients embed insights into campaigns, policy, comms, and stakeholder engagement plans; track outcomes and feedback.

What you bring

  • Education: PhD preferred (Marketing Science, Economics/Econometrics, Communication Science, Organizational Behavior, or related). Strong MSc with equivalent experience considered.
  • Domain understanding: experience with how large firms operate from marketing, economics, and communications perspectives.
  • Analytical literacy: comfortable reading econometric outputs (e.g., regression, causal inference) and translating them for non-technical leaders.
  • Storytelling & writing: exceptional ability to structure argumentation, synthesize evidence, and craft crisp, persuasive narratives.
  • Client presence: confident facilitator and presenter; consultative, curious, and clear.
  • People skills: outgoing, friendly, and collaborative; able to build trust across expert teams and with senior stakeholders.
  • Language & location: professional fluency in Dutch and English and residence within 25 km of Amsterdam.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in management consulting, insights, corporate strategy, policy, academia or corporate communications.
  • Comfort reviewing code/outputs (R/Python/Stata) to ask the right questions (coding not required).

What we offer

  • Meaningful work turning cutting-edge stakeholder science into real-world decisions.
  • Smart, kind colleagues across research, econometrics, IT and client strategy in Amsterdam.
  • Competitive compensation and room to grow.

How to apply
