The position


As a Site Planning Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. Key Responsibilities


We are looking for an experienced Site Planning Engineer to oversee the planning of a 30-month construction project under a major EPC contract (valued around €250M). The scope includes the greenfield installation of an Electrolyzer unit for Hydrogen Production. While the Engineering & Procurement phase is well advanced, site construction activities are just beginning.


  • Prepare the baseline project schedule and progress measurement tools, using the defined Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Ensure that all activities, including those of external stakeholders, are properly integrated into the schedule.
  • Coordinate with discipline leads to validate dates, durations, dependencies, and workload distribution.
  • Perform critical path analysis and collaborate with the Project Manager to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with project engineers, attending project reviews and coordination meetings.
  • Provide monthly updates of the schedule and progress sheets, reflecting actual progress and realistic forecasts.
  • Conduct progress analysis, identify delays, and prepare look-ahead schedules.
  • Recommend corrective measures to recover potential delays and improve efficiency.
  • Support the Project Manager in defining and executing the Project Execution Strategy.
  • Ensure full transparency of deadlines and progress for the entire project lifecycle.


What you bring to the position


  • 10–15 years of experience on large industrial EPC projects.
  • Strong background in construction site planning.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously on site, with remote office support.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 (mandatory).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets is an advantage.
