FunctieomschrijvingFor our HR team in the EMEA Headquarters in Amsterdam, we are currently seeking to recruit a new colleague with knowledge of (international) payroll and compensation & benefits for the EMEA region. You will also play an important role with annual budgeting and providing management information.HR ANALYST (COMPENSATION & BENEFITS)TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES• Act as one of the specialists related to (international) payroll, compensation and benefits for the region; • Regional or International Payroll: Monthly regional and international payroll activities in cooperation with our external payroll provider. Reviews for accuracy and Resolve discrepancies with payroll; • Compensation: Salary surveys, Annual compensation administration, variable compensation administration, expatriate compensation etc. • Benefits: Benefits administration, benefits plan administration (from regional HQ perspective), compliance, reporting and vendor management. • Work with complex and sensitive data to provide analytical insights to compensation, benefits, taxation and social security matters in the region, through varying levels of data analysis; • Provide administrative and analytical support on a variety of topics including regional population, market research, program design, analysis, budgeting or implementation of new programs; • Closely partner, cooperate and manage the relationship with external parties as well as with counterparts at our Corporate HQ in Brazil; • Develop, refine and execute ad-hoc reporting requests as they occur; • Manage annual in- and external audits related to payroll, compensation and benefits by preparing documentation, responding to queries, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. • Develop, refine and execute ad-hoc reporting requests as business issues arise; • Provide dedicated support with annual budgeting, comparing budget, actual expenses and adjusting forecasts for HR operations using SAP and SAC tools; • Generate and manage HR-related payment requests using SAP; • Process HR related invoices for payment using SAP; • Respond to employee queries related to payroll and benefits with professionalism and accuracy. • Work closely and in good partnership with the Finance team for monthly payroll closing, arranging payments, and resolving queries as they arise. • Specific (broad) HR projects will be part of the job responsibility, either as the project lead or in a supportive/member role. This can vary throughout the year and as per individual’s preference, knowledge and interest. • Help drive and/or lead HR process improvements with a Lean mindset.CANDIDATE PROFILE• Higher education (Bachelors+) in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or another closely related discipline is highly desired, but can be compensated by additional years of experience; • Preferably a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position managing payroll for different countries within the EMEA region; knowledge of subjects such as hypotax, hypo social security, permanent establishment, etc. • Experience with working with SAP is a must, knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is a plus; • Knowledge of accounting and financial processes is a big plus; • Demonstrated strong analytical competencies, excellent planning skills and the ability to execute with a sense of urgency; • naturally curious and open minded, with good interpersonal skills who enjoys learning by doing; • Experience working cross-functional teams at all levels within an international organisation; • Experience working in a mutli cultural environment is a big plus, cultural awareness is a must; • Excellent communication skills and the ability to ‘connect’ at all levels; • A true team player who is looking for- and open to constructive (feedback) within their own and other teams; • Flexibility and ability to prioritise as necessary in an ever changing environment; • Strong attention to detail a must; • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; • Independent and proactive attitude; • Fluency in English is mandatory; • Accurate and precise, the ideal candidate continuously seeks to improve, streamline and optimise processes and reports; • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Word, Co pilot.
