Senior java engineer

We are a Dutch recruitment agency based in Netherlands and we are preferred suppliers to big Banking organizations based in the Netherlands.

For one of our Banking client based in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Java Developer.

36- 40 hours

2 - 3 year project

Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

The project:

We provide Master Data Management solutions for managing customer data. The service is provided by the Global Customer Data Management tribe (GCDM) and is the customer data store and data layer of the Banking Technology Platform. We support all business lines and entities by providing data and business services to manage Master Party Data incorporating our technology and Global Reference Data Management. It enables consumers worldwide to connect to global services and ultimately decommission local Data Management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Engineers to interpret business requirements and deliver features with real business value
• Foster a collaborative team environment and actively learn from your colleagues
• Influence technology choices and contribute to the architecture of newly developed components and services
• Review code meaningfully - focusing on the business and high level

Technical environment:

• Java 17+, Spring Boot, Neo4j, Kafka, Azure SQL, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Cucumber, Maven

Skillset:

• Experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot
• Infrastructure and DevOps tasks (e.g. Azure, pipelines, certificates)
• Observability technologies - Prometheus/Grafana/ELK
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Nice to have:

• Neo4j or other graph database
• Kafka
• Domain Driven Design & Hexagonal Architecture

Interview process:

• One technical interview (60 min Teams chat) and one softs skills (20 mins)
