Data center engineer

Data Center Engineer Required. As a Data Center Engineer you’ll be working as part of a hands-on technical team responsible for maintaining the performance and operational continuity of a state-of-the-art Datacenter in Eindhoven, North Brabant.

The Data Center Engineer will work closely with other team members, to ensure that all systems are optimised and resilient. You play a key role in the technical support of Datacenter operations and technical systems to ensure maximum uptime, playing a key role in maintenance, monitoring, fault diagnosis and incident management.

It is essential that the Data Center Engineer will have strong technical skills across racking and stacking, fibre and copper cabling, cooling systems, UPS / NSR power supplies, and alarm systems.

In summary the, Data Center Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong skills in installation, repair, maintenance, racking and stacking, fibre and copper cabling, cooling systems, UPS / NSR power supplies, and alarm systems.
• Skilled in fault identification and incident management to ensure maximum system up-time
• Experience providing preventive maintenance in large DCs
• Knowledge of datacenter operations, management, and best practice in large Datacenters
• Experience managing and maintaining technical continuity for systems in large Datacenter environments
