Senior account director

Our customer is the leader in the semiconductor industry, producing the chips that are found in smart phones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, cars, laptops, games consoles, and many more products. The European market is served out of the offices in Amsterdam by a multi-cultural team of account managers, marketing, technology and business support specialists.

Due to the expanding business in Europe, there is an immediate vacancy for a Senior Account Director.

He/She will report to the President of the European Office, taking full ownership for an account portfolio from strategy development to the business operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics; MBA is preferred.
• Executive or Senior Director level, typically associated with a minimum of 15 years commercial experience in the field of semiconductor technology. A background in automotive and/or data center industry is highly appreciated.
• Ability to develop and in-depth understand customer roadmaps and requirements, formulating effective strategies to grow and protect market share and to gain new designs, including internal alignment to allocate adequate capacity. Strategic Selling.
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships, both internally and externally; includes influencing and negotiating for win-win outcomes.
• Travel to customers’ site in Europe, US, Asia, and to HQ in Taiwan.

The successful candidate:

• is ambitious, flexible and eager to learn,
• is disciplined and well-organized,
• has full fluency in written and oral English,
• has cross-European and Asian inter-cultural experience.
