Position Overview
As a Senior Manager in PMO Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Dutch practice. Working closely with our Country Manager in Amstelveen, you will lead complex transformation programs, act as a trusted advisor to executives, and build a high-performing team of PMO consultants.
This is a senior consulting role with direct exposure to both clients and internal leadership, offering significant impact and clear opportunities for career growth in the Netherlands and across our international group.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Growth
- Act as a strategic advisor to executives driving business and digital transformation.
- Ensure delivery excellence for new client accounts and transformation programs.
- Co-develop new service offerings together with the management team.
Delivery Leadership & Governance
- Oversee the delivery of complex programs, ensuring quality, structure, and consistency.
- Provide governance, risk management, and reporting to both client and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives for our clients.
Team Development & Practice Building
- Manage, coach, and inspire a team of PMO consultants, building capability and ensuring high standards.
- Actively participate in recruitment and onboarding to expand our Dutch practice.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the PMO community.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in PMO, program management, consulting, or transformation delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation programs, ideally in industrial sectors and/or digital contexts.
- Strong background in consulting or advisory environments, with industrial exposure preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and grow teams while ensuring delivery excellence.
- Previous involvement in recruitment, onboarding, and capability building is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of PMO frameworks and methodologies (MSP, PRINCE2, PMI, Agile, SAFe, Lean).
- Expertise in schedule management and scheduling tools (P6, MSP, Planisware, …).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience with C-suite executives.
- Professional certifications (PMP, PgMP, MSP, SAFe, Lean Six Sigma) are desirable.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory).

Contract / Location
- Location: Amstelveen (hybrid work model, with travel across the Netherlands as required).
- Type: Permanent role, 40 hours/week
