The job profile
This role is a great opportunity for an ambitious and open-minded finance professional to step into a high-impact position at Valcon, a fast-growing European transformation company backed by private equity. You will work closely with CFO Jochem Theunissen and Group Director Business Control Gosia Turowska to build and lead the finance function at group level.
We are looking for someone who is both assertive and pragmatic, and who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will take the lead in bringing structure and harmonization across the group finance function, while keeping a hands-on, collaborative approach with the local teams.
Key priorities include harmonizing accounting systems (Exact is currently used in the Netherlands), driving fast-close initiatives, and professionalizing processes to support both organic growth and the integration of new acquisitions.

For the Director Accounting & Reporting of Valcon, we are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial finance professional who thrives in an international, fast-paced environment. Someone who enjoys bringing structure, driving improvements, and taking ownership of group-level accounting and reporting.
You are pragmatic and hands-on by nature, with strong expertise in consolidation and reporting. You know how to partner effectively with the CFO, Executive Board, and local finance teams, while keeping short reporting lines and contributing directly to Valcon’s international growth journey.
