About the role
As Senior Certification Engineer, you are the expert who monitors the consistency between all structure-related tests. You will combine technical knowledge with a keen eye for certification requirements and work closely with EASA to ensure the highest standards.
- Prepare and review test plans and assist in implementation;
- Implement the testing philosophy with a building block approach;
- Ensure consistency between all structure tests and support the certification process;
- Analyze and solve technical problems arising from test results;
- Participate in discussions with EASA Panel 3 (Structures) on plans and outcomes.

Who are you
You are a technical specialist with experience in aviation structures and certification. You switch effortlessly between details and the bigger picture and feel comfortable consulting with authorities such as EASA.
- Diploma in Aerospace Engineering and relevant work experience;
- Knowledge of EASA Part 21 and certification specifications (e.g. CS27, CS23/CS25);
- Experience with strength and fatigue assessments, materials, metals and composites;
- Solution-oriented and skilled in addressing technical challenges;
- Good communication skills in English and confident in conversations with stakeholders;
- Experience with SolidWorks, Windchill and Microsoft Office, knowledge of Python or Matlab is a plus.
