Your opportunity

As a Medior Piping Materials Engineer, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality piping systems for FPSO and SPM projects. You will contribute to both basic and detailed design phases, respond to client and vendor queries, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements. Your work will directly support the safe and reliable performance of offshore production systems.


What you will do

  • Develop basic and detailed piping designs for FPSOs and SPM systems
  • Prepare specifications for piping materials, valves, and special items
  • Review and engage with vendor documentation
  • Participate in HAZID sessions and support client/third-party approvals
  • Review fabrication and construction drawings; respond to site queries
  • Provide timely responses to interdisciplinary reviews, client/vendor questions, and certifying authority requests
  • Identify technical risks and report progress, challenges, and achievements to your Lead/Section Head

What you already have

  • MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • +/- 5 years of relevant piping engineering experience in oil & gas projects
  • Strong knowledge of piping materials, valves, and equipment
  • Experience in pipe stress analysis and piping design
  • Familiarity with international piping design codes and standards
  • Hands-on experience in both basic and detailed design phases
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken
