This role is pivotal in implementing and advancing IT infrastructure improvements that align with overall business strategy and enhance the user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the global infrastructure estate, including servers and networking hardware.Support the deployment of new technologies and capabilities across the business.Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft identity management solutions.Manage and support LAN infrastructure (wired and wireless).Collaborate with Security Specialists to support InfoSec infrastructure-related tasks.Act as the technical liaison during solution implementations requiring infrastructure expertise.Provide insights and feedback to the Infrastructure Manager on evolving technologies and best practices.Coordinate with IT Business Partners to communicate changes and set user expectations.Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for IT Service Desk support issues.Skills & QualificationsRequired:Minimum 5+ years in an Infrastructure Specialist or Infrastructure Engineer role.Relevant IT certifications or professional qualifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, etc.).Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); Dutch is a plus.Proven experience with:Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group PolicyMicrosoft 365 and Entra IDCisco and/or Aruba LAN technologiesVirtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft HyperVDesirable:Experience in the food manufacturing industry or similar industrial environments.Proficiency with tools and technologies such as:PowerShell scriptingMobile Device Management (Intune, Apple Business Manager)Microsoft SQL ServerMicrosoft Office SuiteCato NetworksPalo Alto firewallsCrowdStrike security solutionsVeeam or AvePoint backup technologiesOT/industrial technologies (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell)Core CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEffective collaboration across teams and with external vendorsCustomer-focused mindsetExcellent problem-solving capabilitiesCommitment to continuous improvementStrong organizational and planning skillsKey StakeholdersInternal IT Infrastructure & IT TeamsBusiness Users across the organizationExternal IT Vendors and Service Providers
