As part of a multi-phase digital transformation program, they are rolling out Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management across their European entities. The Amsterdam site is the central hub for logistics, procurement, and production planning—making this a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment.Role OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned D365 SCM Functional Consultant to support and enhance the client’s Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management platform. You’ll be embedded within the IT and operations teams, helping to stabilise the system post-implementation, resolve user issues, and drive continuous improvement across core supply chain processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day functional support for D365 SCM, including troubleshooting, user setup, role management, and issue resolutionPartner with HelpDesk and internal stakeholders to manage ticket queues and ensure timely resolution of system issuesDocument and prioritise business system issues and enhancement requests using the client’s IT ticketing systemAnalyse business processes and system interactions to identify root causes and improvement opportunitiesCreate and maintain documentation for business scenarios, workflows, and system proceduresDeliver training and support to end users across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and production modulesProactively identify and implement improvements to usability, reporting, and platform efficiencyCollaborate with IT leadership to escalate complex issues and align solutions with business goalsRequired Skills & Experience6+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (AX or F&O), including 5+ years in the SCM moduleDeep functional knowledge of procurement, inventory, warehousing, and production planningStrong troubleshooting and support capabilities in live environmentsFluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)Experience working in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferredExcellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
