HR Technology Specialist – Rheem Europe

Are you an expert in HR technology and HR/payroll processes? Do you want to work in an international, growing, and dynamic environment where you play a key role in managing and optimizing HR and payroll software, processes, and systems? Then you might be the new HR Technology Specialist at Rheem Europe.


What will you do?

As an HR Technology Specialist, you are the central link between Rheem’s global HR Tech team in the U.S. and the local organizations in Europe. You will be responsible for implementing and managing HR systems (HRIS), payroll systems, and HR/payroll technologies across Europe. You’ll work closely with local IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.

You’ll translate trends, developments, and policies into strategies that promote the use of (new) technologies in HR and payroll processes. You’ll also provide technical support to HR departments, ensure data quality through regular audits, and train HR staff in using new systems and functionalities. Additionally, you’ll act as a sparring partner for payroll administrators during system changes and updates.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong relationships with the Global HR Tech team (U.S.) and inform local HR departments about global developments and their impact on Europe.
  • Manage and optimize HR and payroll software, processes, and systems.
  • Lead projects for the rollout of HR and payroll systems such as SD Worx, Oracle, or Protime.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain HR information systems (HRIS) and related technologies in Europe, including interfaces in collaboration with IT.
  • Provide technical support to HR and payroll teams and serve as a backup for payroll administration during absences or peak periods.
  • Generate reports and analyses to support strategic decision-making.


What do you bring?

You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and training abilities, and a high level of integrity when handling confidential data. You thrive in an international environment and are willing to work at various locations across Europe.

You also have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Technology Specialist or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll, HRIS systems, and databases.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
